Melissa Evans is the owner and lead designer of Trend Staging + Design, a premier home staging company serving the Twin Cities. With over 16 years of entrepreneurial experience, Melissa has built a reputation as a trusted expert in the home staging industry. Melissa is known for her ability to transform spaces, solve design challenges, and strategically position homes to stand out in today’s competitive real estate market.

Melissa’s journey into staging began organically while helping a friend prepare a home for sale, an experience that revealed the powerful impact of staging on both presentation and profitability. Recognizing an opportunity to merge her design expertise with real estate strategy, she officially launched Trend Staging + Design in 2013, shifting her focus to helping homeowners, builders, and real estate professionals maximize a property’s appeal and value.

A passionate advocate for the staging industry, Melissa co-founded the Minnesota Chapter of RESA® (Real Estate Staging Association) in 2016. Since then, she has played an active role in growing and elevating the profession locally by mentoring peers, collaborating with industry professionals, and promoting the value of staging throughout the Twin Cities. She currently serves as President-Elect and will step into the role of Chapter President in 2027.

Whether staging homes to sell quickly and for top dollar, partnering with builders on model homes, or guiding homeowners through design selections, she brings both creativity and strategy to every project.
